Student Services Through mySFA
Stephen F. Austin State University provides all students with robust, personalized software tools and a high performance network. All students receive both an SFA email account and a personal account on mySFA, the university's intranet portal, at the time they apply for admission. Students use mySFA to accept financial aid, register for classes, complete class assignments through Desire2Learn, check grades, vote in campus elections, respond to surveys, gain access to campus email, learn about upcoming activities, participate in campus groups, enter chat sessions, create personal calendars, and read world, national and local news.
Through the library's online catalog, you can access the public holdings of both the SFA Library and the Nacogdoches Public Library. You can also directly search numerous general and subject-specific computer-based indexes, and can, in many cases, view the text of the information. Librarians are available to help with your research in specific subject areas and with any specific needs you may have.
Desire2Learn (D2L) Support
D2L is a web-based course management system created to allow students and members of the faculty to participate in classes delivered within an online learning environment. For students who have issues logging into D2L, please contact the Help Desk for D2L at 936-468-1919 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Live support is available from 8:00 AM CST to 5:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday. Additional information can be found under the SFA Online website.
