SFA provides students financial assistance through federal programs. Our students are offered Pell Grants and Direct Loans. Undergraduate students may apply for and receive aid through all of the federal programs, whereas graduate students may only qualify for Direct Loans. All Financial Aid funds will be made in two disbursements for each long semester. The first disbursement will be made at the beginning of the term and the second disbursement will be made at the 50% point of the term. Both undergraduate and graduate students may apply for and receive scholarships to help pay for costs. PLEASE NOTE: Academic Partnership students are NOT eligible to apply for the Emergency Short-Term Loan or Book Loans.
